Cancer Prevention Diet plan, A good Thing For You, A Bad Thing For Cancer!

A cancer prevention diet plan is esteemed by many people today, as one of the most sought after diets; this is in reference to cancer being the second leading cause of death.

Usually when I meet people who have cancer, I show them what they can eat in order to help prevent it from spreading further, and there are grateful for this information, thanks to ( James F Balch, M.D. and mark stengler, N.D.)

Cancer is referred to as the process of uncontrolled cell division, and technically, it's not in itself the name of a specific disorder.

Cancer is an umbrella term that refers to more than one kind of diseases that are generally named according to the area where the tumor first appears.

Now there are many types of cancers, but the most popular ones that society deals with, are prostate in men and breast cancer in women.

Today researchers cannot detected the root cause of uncontrolled cell growth despite decades of hard work and billions of dollars spent, but appears to agree that cancer shows its ugly face by large controllable factors, such as nutrition, lifestyle, and environmental factors.

Is there such a thing as cancer prevention diet? Yes! but in the world of conventional medicine, it is rarely address in a comprehensive fashion.

Let’s face it, healthy eating for a healthier life is just as important as the air you breath in order to survive.

To reduce the risk of developing cancer, you need to reduce free-radical formation in the body, limit dietary and environmental sources of free-radicals, and increase the intake of antioxidant nutrients.

It is unhealthy eating habits that are responsible for so many diseases like cancer, and in order to prevent cancer, healthy eating must be encouraged.

A person with a strong immune system and high levels of antioxidants...the substance that neutralize free-radicals, are in a better position to starve tumor growth.

What Should You Eat

This is what your diet would consist of for the prevention of cancer.

With a cancer prevention diet, you would focus on whole foods which optimize immune functions and detoxification.

Try eating live clean foods whenever possible. These are foods that are organically grown and are less toxic. If you cannot get organic food, use conventional... even though they are more toxic due to pesticides. Wash them Clean before consumption.

The liver processes toxins and cancer promoting free-radicals are produced in high levels.

Antioxidant neutralizes free-radicals, and the best antioxidant is glutathione which counteract free-radicals during this process.

  • Asparagus
  • Avocados
  • Broccoli
  • Brussels sprouts
  • Cabbage
  • Walnuts

Contain high amounts of glutathione. Make sure you add them to your diet every day.

Eat lots of raw fruits and vegetables, especially those with dark rich colors.
Foods like these have lots of fiber which helps flush toxins from your body, and it is a potent source of antioxidants.

Eating them raw will retain their natural enzymes, allowing the maximum nutrients to enter the bloodstream when digested.

wheat germ, nuts, and seeds are a good source of vitamin E, which is another powerful antioxidant.

Garlic, onion, and legumes will keep the liver functioning at optimum capacity

Soy products such as tofu, tempeh, and miso, appear to have cancer fighting properties. Try to eat them at least four times a week unless you are sensitive to soy products.

Tomatoes are high in lycopene, a substance that has been shown to help counteract and help prevent prostate cancer.

Drink plenty of water for a healthy detoxification, drink lots of fruits and vegetable juices, consume 8 to 10 ounces a day of a variety of juices.

For more fiber and cancer-fighting phytonutrients also called lignans, 4 table spoons of ground flaxseeds daily with 10 ounces of water, are good for a cancer prevention diet.
